March 2012 Newsletter

Spring eNewsletter from the E. Kellogg Bed & Breakfast

Lots of good things are happening at the E. Kellogg B&B, read below! Maple Syrup Tours - March 17th-18th

This is perfect weather for maple sugaring (cold nights, warm days). I've attached a flyer from the Wayne County Extension Office for tours of the local farms who harvest Maple Syrup. The tours are happening this Saturday and Sunday (March 17th & 18th). The Sitgrave House is available for the weekend!

Bee & Bee Honey

The bees are flying! It appears that all three of our bee hives made it through the winter!

Social Media Update

We are now on Google+ and Pinterest!

Please feel free to visit any of our pages for the latest info on local artists and events, shopping and restaurants, the food I cook, Wayne County history, my honey bees, technology in the home, and tons of other fun stuff!

We will also be posting the occasional special or discount on our various social media pages for those who like a good deal.

Updates to the House - Going Green

The outside of the main house is being treated to some replacement siding, to keep it looking great into the next 100 years! While that is being done, we will also be adding better insulation into the building to assist with our green footprint! This will make the heating more efficient, as well as air conditioning in the summer.

We specialize in weekend-get-a-ways! So, come enjoy the fresh air, relaxing atmosphere, and great specialty breakfasts.

New E. Kellogg B&B Website!

My website has been recently updated, and I’m loving it!

Be sure to look up the details of Dawdler’s Dream. It’ll be something you will want to keep in mind!
